The Edwardian Lodge Guest House has been recently refurbished and redecorated to a very high standard. All bedrooms have newly refitted en-suite shower/toilet facilities, and all have TVs, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Breakfast is served in the conservatory which overlooks the garden at the rear. There is a spacious private car park at the rear of the property, and as we are situated just 1/2 mile north of the city centre, you can walk to the centre in about 10 mins, either by the main route leading to the market square or the path which runs alongside the river avon. The Cathedral is a further 5 minute walk from the market square.
There are a number of local restaurants and pubs nearby which serve a good selection of evening meals, and a Waitrose superstore within 4 mins walk.
There are also many visitor attractions close by, amongst the most well known are of course Stonehenge, Old Sarum, Wilton house, Avebury, and The New Forest.
